John Crawley
has a proven track record as a successful businessman
in designing company strategy, arranging
complex financial & property transactions,
providing a decision supporting Finance role to
businesses, leading and directing large & small
teams as well as organisational transformation
and change management.
A Fellow of the Chartered
Association of Certified Accountants and of the
Institute of Bankers, John spent 22 years working
in the Ulster Bank Group in various senior roles
in many of the organisation’s businesses,
most recently as Group Financial Controller (2000
to 2003).
John majors on providing fit for purpose
solutions to customers based on his considerable

John Clare commenced as a tied insurance agent
in 1992 with Hibernian Life, he opened an Independent
Insurance Brokerage in 1994 dealing with all areas
of personal wealth management and growth, in 1995
he began to offer mortgages to clients again on
an independent basis. In 1996 he obtained an Auctioneering
Licence.
Over the years John has gained a wealth
of experience in dealing with high net worth
clients as well as corporate clients. Offering
advice on
a wide range of Insurance / Banking and Property
products.
John Clare is fully licenced by IFSRA
as a Multi-Agency Advisor, by the Central
Bank as a Mortgage Intermediary and also a fully
licenced Auctioneer.

A Chartered Accountant, qualified in 1983
having trained in Grant Thornton.
1983 to1987
worked in
Deloitte &Touche in both general practice
and corporate finance.
1987 joined Eagle Star Life. Financial Controller
to 1992. Established and became General Manager
of Eagle Star’s IFSC Investment and Treasury
Management business. In addition established
Eagle Star’s IFSC life insurance company
and was responsible for corporate affairs.
1997
joined Citibank as Vice President and Head of
Funds Administration business in Ireland. During
period from 1997 to 2001 funds under administration
grew from US$ 6 billion to US$ 80 billion. During
this period was Chairman of an Taoiseach’s
IFSC Insurance Group
More recently worked as a
self-employed financial consultant, principally
with assignments in forensic accounting.
